Southern Star Elites is a family guild with players that may have limited playing time due to life outside of World of Warcraft. Its purpose is to allow members to connect in game to have as much fun as possible with what time they have to play. Southern Star Elites does not have any level or leveling requirements. Bad Language will not be Tolerated in Guild Chat
If you would like to sign up to our website please follow the instructions 1. Create an Account You must create an account with Guildportal before u can login to the website. It is usually hard to get your Main Characters name because of the huge number of Guildportal members. We would like to suggest to new users to create your name by this method - Main Character name(Kaz Goroth) eg:- Smasher(Kaz Goroth) Click here to create an account 2. Send an Application Click Join Southern Star Elites (Top left of Page) then wait for us to approve your membership (usually done at the end of the day) 3. Add your character: Guild Name click €Characters/Settings€ either at the top or to the side of any of your guild pages (depending on where you've set the navigation). Then, they'll need to click on €Add New Character,€ fill out the fields asking about their character. After that,they'll need to edit the character's general information section, specifying whether or not the character should appear on guild rosters.
Raiding With SSE
Southern Star Elites raid times are between 8pm and 10.30pm Server Time. Our raid nights are Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday. Do not expect your officers to hold your hands. If you decide you want to raid there are things which are required of you first. We have given you the tools on the website to help you out.
You will NEED to download the Raid Essentials (Addons) to come with SSE and a Minimun gear score of 8K is deemed to be the norm for the new Instances. You will also need to contact an Officer to be placed in the Raid Invite List, if you do not sign up you will not get an invite it is as simple as that. Virus, Kareena or Milfoil can assist you in this. If we do a continuation of an Instance the original members get to keep thier spots. Raid balance is important to the success of any raid so if you do not get in because of this reason its not personal. Depending on numbers we will do Either a 25 man a 10 man or 2 x 10 man raids. We distribute gear based on Main spec rolls followed by offspec rolls, any BOE will need to be equipped Immediately. Anything that is not rolled for is Disenchanted and placed in the Guild Bank. If you require something from the Bank ask an Officer, if you are asking for something that you are not worthy of having dont be offended by the No answer you will recieve. If you are contributing to our guild bank it will be shared around fairly. When you are doing an Instance be at the entrance on time and with your pots and stam food plus any reagents required by your class for buffs etc. Why do you need to be summonsed to the instance because you are too lazy. This costs most raids the most time. Milfoil is currently our raid leader, he knows what he is doing and handles our raids with skill and in a manner that suits our guild. We do it his way and his way only if you have an idea a PST is the polite way NO Raid chat or Vent interuptions are neccassary its just disruptive. We raid for the fun of it cause thats why we play, but we still enjoy progression as much as anyone but its not our priority at the expense of a good time.
